Sunday February 1st Dunn PAL Wrestling team attended the NCWAY Novice State Championship in Lumberton, North Carolina. Divisions ranging from elementary and middle school competed. Mark Brown placed 3rd in 8-and-under division in 50 lbs. For age 10-and-under division three PAL wrestlers placed. William Morrison placed 2nd in 70 lbs., Alex Parrilla placed 2nd in 103 lbs., Corey Pollock placed 2nd in 160 lbs. In age 15-and-under division four PAL wrestlers placed. Antone Patterson placed 2nd in 120 lbs., Alex Vielmas placed 1st in 125 lbs., Malik Weeks placed 1st in 155 lbs., and Tyre Cameron placed 1st in HWT. In the NCWAY Novice State Championship Dunn PAL placed 3rd out 28. In the elementary division Dunn PAL placed 8th out of 28. In the middle school division Dunn PAL placed 2nd out of 18.
