During the week of 7/9 through 7/11 the Dunn Pal summer program visited the Omni Theater, Pullen Park and the Dunn Recreational Pool. At the Omni Theater, the students watched “Dog Show”, a very comical and funny movie about a dog and his partner, Agent Nicholas, stopping an animal trafficking scheme to keep a promise to a baby panda. The students thought the movie was very and funny and really enjoyed their trip. The following day, the students were taken to Pullen Park in Raleigh where they were able to ride paddle boats up a stream. The food, train rides, and boats were the defining aspects of the park. On the last day, the students were able to soak up the sun at Dunn’s pool. Everyone had a fun time jumping in the pool and being able to socialize with their friends without being in a classroom.
