Cardi B just released an album called Invasion of Privacy. Her most popular song off of the album, “Bodak Yellow”, was the main cause for her sudden fame. “Bartier Cardi”,a song that featured 21 Savage, will also appear on the album. One of the album’s singles, “Be Careful” demonstrates Cardi’s singing ability. Her album also talked about relationship woes with Offset. Offset proposed to Cardi just months after being with her, and after their engagement, a video of Offset cheating on Cardi started drama on social media. Cardi B recently announced that she was having a baby by Offset. She revealed her baby bump to the world wearing a white dress while doing a performance on Saturday Night Live. After his partner’s performance, Offset thanked social media for wishing the couple good luck.
Also recently, social media made it seem as though Cardi had beef with fellow female rapper, Nicki Minaj. A collaboration with the two and Migos on the song “Motorsport” sparked questions in an interview about how they were throwing shots at each other in their verses. Minaj recently did an interview with Beats1 radio addressing the Cardi B situation while crying. She says Cardi really hurt her because Migos and Cardi made her lie about the rumors. Minaj cleared up the allegations, saying there were no hard feelings between the two.
