The Dunn PAL Wildcat Wrestling team competed in the NCWAY Rookie State Championship last weekend at Western Harnett High School. The Wildcats placed 5th overall out of 61 teams.
Individually, the team earned some solid placements. From left to right in the picture:
Ruby Garcia: 2nd place at 12 and under 95 pounds
Kristian Chancey: 2nd place at 10 and under heavyweight
Caleb Samples: 1st place champion at 12 and under 80 lbs
Ryan Johnson: 1st place champion at 10 and under heavyweight
Jorge Garcia: 1st place champion at 14 and under 140 lbs
Rayah Johnson: 1st place champion at 6 and under heavyweight
Oakley Rojas: 1st place champion at 8 and under heavyweight
Ethan McPeak: 2nd place at 14 and under 180 lbs
