Dunn PAL Intramurals: Week 1

The first day of the inaugural season of Dunn PAL intramural basketball played out yesterday at the Dunn PAL Fitness Center.

Game 1 pitted Team Money against Carolina Hoopers, with the Hoopers barely edging out a 46-45 victory.

Davonte Jones led the Hoopers with 22 points. His brother Ramsey Jones finished with 13. Hykeem Raines added 9 while Diontae Smith had 2.
Dra Eason paced Team Money with 28 points. B.J. Cox added 9. Brandon Young and Kevin Powers contributed 3 and Drake Stokes finished with 2.

Game 2 featured Runnin’ Rebels versus 910 Ballers and saw the Rebels earn a 10-point 56-46 win.

Jamar Autry notched a game-high 24 points for the Rebels. Donald Plummer and Rashay Cooke added 15 and 13 while Tyree Coxum finished with 4.
The Ballers were lead by Treyvon Stephenson with 20 points. Quamane McLeod added 10 and Jr Bethea had 8. Mikavis Smith had 6 while Amahd Jenkins had 2.

Here are the standings after Day 1:
1. Runnin’ Rebels (1-0) 56 pts
2. Carolina Hoopers (1-0) 46 pts
3. 910 Ballers (0-1) 46 pts
4. Team Money (0-1) 45 pts

Action resumes next Tuesday afternoon beginning at 5 pm, as the Hoopers face the Rebels while the Ballers play Team Money.
