The Dunn Police Athletic/Activities League will be establishing a new PAL basketball league for 2019.
The basketball league will be offered for students aged 13-18 who are not currently playing for a school or recreational team. Participants that are high school sophomores or seniors will also still be eligible to try out for the PAL’s own travel basketball teams, the Wildcats, whose seasons begin in March. All non-PAL students interested in joining will need to fill out a PAL application, found at the main office, at 610 Fairground Road in Dunn.
An interest meeting will be held next Wednesday, January 16, from 5-6 PM at the Dunn PAL fitness center for students and parents. Paperwork for the program will be addressed and can be completed at the meeting. First practices are scheduled to begin Tuesday, January 22, from 6-7:30 PM.
