Who Loves Nachos?

From game-day snacks to restaurant appetizers, nachos are one of the most versatile foods ever created.  For years, they’ve been one of my favorites, whether they’re typical chips and cheese or fancy home-made creations with hot Cheetos, Doritos, shrimp, and ground beef.  It’s hard to go wrong with nachos.

Since nachos are on my mind today, I’m going to share a recipe I tried.

For your ingredients, you’ll need:

1 lb of ground beef

1 lb of shrimp (Doesn’t matter what size)

1 Bag of Doritos or hot Cheetos (Optional)

Lawry’s seasoning salt (as much as you want)

Accent seasoning salt (as much as you want)

Mrs. Dash original blend (same)

30 oz  of Tostitos cheese

2 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese ( as much as you want)

1 pack of Taco seasoning

Once you have all your ingredients, you wanna get a pan to cook your meat. Turn your stove on to medium heat so the pan can start warming up, and once the pan gets hot, you will put the meat in your pan. Use all the seasonings listed above or whatever seasonings you choose. Once the meat is seasoned, cook until it turns brown.

When the meat is done, strain it so it won’t be greasy. After you strain it, add the taco season and stir it to satisfaction. Once you get done with that go ahead and add the Tostitos cheese and mix into the bowl. Once you get done with the main part of the dish you wanna go ahead and get another pan to cook the shrimp. You wanna cook the shrimp for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on the level of heat. Once your shrimp is done, pour it into the meat and cheese and stir. Once everything is mixed together, your snack is ready to serve.
