Last night, Dunn PAL held their annual Christmas program. Before it started we were finishing setting up and making sure that we had everything in order. A few minutes after 6:00 pm, we started serving food to all of the people who came, which included salad and a choice between spaghetti or alfredo. For dessert, we had two cakes for people to eat. The food last night was provided by Gospel Tabernacle. I think it is safe to say that almost everyone from last night really enjoyed the food.
Afterwards, we started the main part of our program: the play. Our students last night did a really good job in the actual play as well as the dances that were performed throughout it. After we finished the play, students from PAL as well as some that do not attend lined up to receive gifts from PAL. After they had gotten their gifts, they took a picture with Santa and received a raffle ticket for a chance to win a bicycle. After everything was said and done, a lot of those children went home happy with the new stuff they had gotten from us. This year’s program was really fun and successful.
