In my opinion, this has to be one of the best times of the year. Christmas and New Year’s are right around the corner. Christmas is a time for family to be together, to be lazy for no reason, and to watch movies while drinking hot cocoa. Students get a break from school and some time to relax while parents get to be home with their kids for some bonding time. I’m a school-lover so I am not exactly excited about getting out of school but I am so happy at what it brings.
This year my older brother, who is in the Marine Corps, is coming home for Christmas. I have not seen him in over a year so I will probably cry when I do. Not only does my brother come home, but I get to go spend time with my dad’s side of the family. I do not get to see them that often, so I cannot wait. First, we will spend Christmas morning at my aunt’s house, then we will go to my grandparent’s house. I love spending time with all of my family members, even though they do get on my nerves. I am looking forward to this Christmas and many other holidays to come.
