For Pie Lovers (Like Me)

Howdy, my name is Kennisha Robinson and I’m 15 years old. I’m here to tell y’all how much I like pie. I like all types of pie, pumpkin pie, Oreo pie, apple pie, pecan pie, etc. My favorite pies are pumpkin pie and Oreo pie, so I’m going to tell y’all how to make them, starting with pumpkin.

For your ingredients you’ll need:
3/4 cups of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 can (15oz) 100% pure pumpkin
1 can (12 fl oz) Nestle Carnation evaporated milk
1 unbaked 9-inch (4 cup volume) deep-dish pie shell
whipped cream

Mix the sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves in a small bowl. Then, you’re going to beat the eggs in a large bowl. Now, you’re going to stir in the pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. After you’re done with all the mixing, you’re then going to pour the mixture into the pie shell. Bake in preheated oven at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350, then bake for 40-50 minutes or until a tooth pick or knife comes out clean.  That’s how to whip up some good pumpkin pie.

Now, I’ll share a recipe for making Oreo pie.

For your ingredients you’ll need:
36 oreos cookies (or as many you want)
1/4 cup butter pr margarine melted
2pkg (3.4 oz. each) vanilla instant pudding mix
1-1/2 cups of cold milk
1 tub (8 oz) cool whip topping

Once you have all your ingredients, you’re now going to crush 24 Oreos (or as many you want) finely. Mix them with butter then press onto the bottom and slide up of 9-inch pie plate. The remaining cookies you’ll chop. Beat pudding mixes and milk in large bowl with whisk for 2 minutes. Stir in cool whip and chopped cookies. Spoon into crust. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until the ingredients set.

I hope these recipes will help out my pie lovers with Christmas right around the corner.
