The Dunn Wildcats Varsity basketball team won two games before losing their elimination game at Methodist University in the NTBA Regional Tip-Off this past weekend.
After winning their first game 75-70 against Carolina United, they followed up that performance with a win against East Coast All Stars 75-64. Senior Christion Green earned a double-double and led the Wildcats with 18 points and 16 rebounds while shooting 57% from the field. Junior Khalil Ridges put up 11 points and 6 rebounds as well. Senior Maurice Williams and junior Chrishaun Henry both had 10 points.
In the elimination game against Flight 22 Elite, Dunn lost 67-58.
Henry led the team in scoring with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Ridges finished with 16 points and 6 rebounds.
The Wildcats will be back in action this weekend for the Larry K. McBryde Memorial Tournament in Dunn.
