Kimah Warren, a Coats-Erwin Middle School student, is lending a helping hand to her community. As part of a National Honor Society service project, she began a fundraiser in memory of a former Dunn Police Athletic/Activities member, Kaleb Watlington, who passed away last year. Through Facebook, she began by asking family and friends to donate any extra change to her cause. Her goal was $500, but by the end of her campaign, she had raised over $900. The purpose of the event was to help out Kaleb’s family in a positive way.
