PAL Staff of the Year Inspirational Award Winner 2025

Christopher Michael Eason – PAL Staff of the Year Inspirational Award Winner by National PAL.

The Dunn Police Athletic & Activities League, Inc. would like to announce that during the National Association of Police Athletic & Activities League 80th Annual Conference Gala in Memphis Tennessee, on Thursday night May 15, 2025 one of it’s staff Christopher Eason our Operations Director was recognized and awarded the PAL Staff of the Year Inspirational Award.

Christopher Eason’s journey is a powerful testament to the impact of the Dunn Police Athletic & Activities League. Once a PAL kid himself, Christopher grew up on the court, learning teamwork, discipline, and the value of community. Inspired by his mentor who believed in him, he answered the call to serve, becoming a police officer dedicated to protecting and uplifting others. Now, as a full-time staff member at Dunn PAL, Christopher has come full circle—supporting the very organization that helped shape his life. By empowering the staff who guide today’s youth, he continues to give back in a meaningful way, proving that with heart, dedication, and community, dreams really do come true.

Christopher Eason, the Operations Director for Dunn PAL in North Carolina,  former “PAL Kid” himself, continues to exemplify the mission and values of Police Athletic & Activities Leagues as an adult professional.

Christopher’’s leadership shines in every area from mentoring youth, coaching basketball to securing key grants and organizing citywide clean-ups. He’s led community initiatives like the Thanksgiving Food Giveaway and Youth Christmas Program, recruited various volunteers , and strengthened his chapter’s after-school and sports programming.

In his five years as operations director, Christopher has been central to stabilizing and transforming the organization. He has led campus upgrades, expanded staff development, and elevated program quality across the board.

Deeply respected by staff, the community, and the kids he serves, who honored him with a Black History Award last year. Christopher Eason leads with heart, purpose, and a personal connection to PAL’s mission, earning him the honor of National PAL’s Staff Member of the Year for 2025.

PAL Director Rodney Rowland stated “Chris is a shining example for everyone to follow. His love and commitment to making a positive difference in everyone’s lives transforms everyone he is around. One person can truly make a difference.”
