Chase<br>is not only a dedicated student but also one of our most reliable student aides, known<br>for his hard work, positive attitude, and willingness to help others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Chase has become an essential part of daily life at Dunn PAL, assisting teachers,<br>supporting classmates, and leading by example. When asked about his goal as a<br>student and staff member, Chase shared that he wants to \u201cchange the way students<br>view afterschool programs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Reflecting on his very first day at Dunn PAL, Chase said, \u201cIt was cold, weird, but nice.\u201d<br>That mix of nerves and excitement is something many students can relate to when<br>joining a new environment. For Chase, it became the beginning of a life-changing<br>experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>On October 23, during Dunn PAL\u2019s Lights On Afterschool event, Chase was one of<br>three students selected to speak about the importance of afterschool programs. His<br>speech was heartfelt and deeply personal, as he shared how Dunn PAL supported him<br>through one of the hardest moments of his life\u2026the loss of his mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u201cThe staff members here at Dunn PAL were always there for me,\u201d Chase said. \u201cThey<br>supported me and reminded me that I wasn\u2019t alone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>His words touched the hearts of students, staff, and parents in attendance, reminding<br>everyone of the powerful community built within Dunn PAL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Each afternoon when Chase steps off the van, his first thought is, \u201cHow can I help my<br>fellow students today?\u201d Chase said. Over the years, he\u2019s built lasting friendships with<br>fellow students Bryson Toller, Jeremiah Myers, and Lavanah Johnson, and he says<br>his favorite staff member to work with is Coach B, our energetic and fun-loving<br>principal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Outside of his leadership and service, Chase is a talented artist with big dreams. He<br>hopes to one day work as an animator for a major studio. True to his creative spirit,<br>Chase is currently developing an animated series inspired by Dunn PAL\u2019s Five<br>Pillars, blending art and community values into something truly special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Dunn PAL celebrates Chase not just for his accomplishments, but for his compassion,<br>resilience, and commitment to helping others.
