The Dunn PAL Wildcat Wrestling team competed in the NCWAY Rookie State Championship last weekend at Western Harnett High School. The Wildcats placed 5th overall out of 61 teams.<\/p>\n

Individually, the team earned some solid placements. From left to right in the picture:<\/p>\n

Ruby Garcia: 2nd place at 12 and under 95 pounds
\nKristian Chancey: 2nd place at 10 and under heavyweight
\nCaleb Samples: 1st place champion at 12 and under 80 lbs
\nRyan Johnson: 1st place champion at 10 and under heavyweight
\nJorge Garcia: 1st place champion at 14 and under 140 lbs
\nRayah Johnson: 1st place champion at 6 and under heavyweight
\nOakley Rojas: 1st place champion at 8 and under heavyweight
\nEthan McPeak: 2nd place at 14 and under 180 lbs
\nNot pictured, Brice Johnson: 3rd place at eight and under heavyweight.<\/p>\n
